We could finally get some news on Demon Slayer Season 3 aka Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village arc.

Some good news for those waiting for the third season of Demon Slayer. Some key details about the upcoming Swordsmith Village arc will be revealed on October 15, 2022, at the Machi Asobi event, as per the announcement posted on the official Twitter account. This comes as exciting news for anime fans who have been waiting for official updates since the trailer dropped back in April 2022.

The voice actors for Tanjiro Kamado (Natsuki Hanae) and Tengen Uzui (Katsuyuki Konishi) will be in attendance at the event with producer Yuma Takahashi.

Well, there are no specific details on what will be revealed. However, the fans are hoping that the release date for the next season will be announced. The upcoming season titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc was originally announced after Season 2 (Entertainment District Arc) ended back in February.

A new trailer and key visual were both revealed two months later in April. The trailer primarily consists of a recap and compilation of snippets from the previous season. We also get to see glimpses of the two Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, and Mitsuri Kanroji, who will play important roles in the upcoming mission. Watch the trailer here:

Demon Slayer Anime

Demon Slayer is one of the most popular anime series of all time. Based on a manga series of the same name, the series revolves around a young boy Tanjiro Kamado whose entire family except his sister gets killed by a demon. His sister is transformed into a demon but retains humane qualities and emotions.

Demon Slayer Season 1 debuted in the Fall of 2019, followed by the Mugen Train movie in the Fall of 2020. A sequel to the first season, the movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train debuted in Japan on Oct 16, 2020, and becomes the highest-grossing movie of all time in Japan. It also becomes the highest-grossing anime movie of all time. The second season debuted in the Fall of 2022.
