Produced by Studio Mir, the first season of the animated show premiered in March 2021. It garnered a positive response from the viewers. It became an instant and makes it to the Top 10 list of most-watched series on Netflix in 47 different regions. As a result, Netflix renewed the series for a second season in April 2021.
The second season of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood dropped on Netflix on Jan 18, 2022. The eight-episode season impressed the fans with its pacy narration. Several dragons were introduced in the new season. As of Jan 21, 2022, Netflix or Studio Mir hasn’t officially renewed DOTA: Dragon’s Blood for a third season. The renewal decision depends on the creators and Netflix. Netflix generally takes around a month before announcing the new season. The streaming giant takes into account the viewership data well as the performance of the show for the first month.
Having said that, DOTA’s second season has received a positive response from viewers and critics. We are still waiting for the viewership numbers.
The second season of the show ended on a cliffhanger. So, we can assume that the creators have a definite plan to continue the franchise.

Season 1 debuted on Netflix on Mar 25, 2021. The streaming giant renewed the show for a second season in April 2021, a month after the first season premiere. If the viewership numbers are in favour then we can expect Netflix to announce the third season by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
Season 2 took around 8 months to land on Netflix after its renewal. Considering that the third season takes the same amount of time, we expect DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 3 to premiere on Netflix in the last quarter of 2022. It might take a bit long and drop on the streamer in the first quarter of 2023.
Well, these are just our assumptions. The actual release date depends on when the streamer officially renews the show for the third season.
