Vinland Saga Season 2

What will be the story of Season 2? What chapters could it adapt?

The dark fantasy anime is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami. To date, 18 volumes of the manga series have been published. The author published the latest volume in Japan on December 25, 2021. In 2021, a total of five new manga volumes released. The next volume is scheduled to release on April 4, 2022.

The first season comprising of 24 episodes adapted volumes 1 to 7. Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will take the story forward and is likely to cover the next 7 to 8 volumes.

The anime follows a world beyond with several supernatural aspects and cursed spirits. Season 1 follows Yuji Itadori’s first mission after his Grandfather’s passing. He investigates the curse in Miami’s old school, where students have unsealed a rotting finger. The lack of Yuji’s powers doesn’t allow him to fight against evil. Yuji ultimately consumes that finger, the thing that attracted bane, to save Miami and others. After that, a terrific adventure follows.

The first season ended with the conclusion of the Death Painting Arc, which covers chapters 55-64 in the manga across seven volumes. If the anime continues to adapt the manga in release order, the next is Gojo’s Past Arc, which covers chapters 65-79 in the manga. However, the makers covered this arc in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie.

So, I assume that Season 2 of the series, will follow The Shibuya Incident Arc. It covers chapters 83-136 starting with volume 10. The arc follows the best sorcerers in a team led by Yuji.

The Jujutsu Kaisen fans already know how intense fighting sequences this arc covers. The group of sorcerers will battle hard against the curses and other evil spirits. Also, Gojo will follow them on this top-secret mission.

Will Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 retain the original cast?

Almost all the characters from Season 1 will appear in the second season. We will also see some new characters as the story proceeds. We’ll update you as soon as we get anything. The soul cast of Jujutsu Kaisen is as follows.

  • Yuji Itadori: Junya Enoki (Japanese) and Adam McArthur (English)
