Jujutsu Kaisen is probably one of the most popular animes right now. Studio MAPPA animated the first season that was released in 2020. After the blockbuster success of the first season, the fans of the anime series are eagerly waiting for the second season. Sadly, there are no updates on the second season, but the studio is coming up with a prequel movie. An anime movie titled Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will serve as a prequel to the first season and will introduce us to the main characters of the anime.
New Trailer For Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Released
On Nov 4, 2021, the Jujutsu Kaisen official Twitter account began a countdown. At the end of the countdown, the producers revealed a new trailer. The movie’s new trailer shows off some of its lead characters and gives a preview of the new theme song.
These characters are Yuta Okkutsu, Rika, and of-course Satoru Gojo. Here’s a look at the trailer:
What Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is about?
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 focuses on the events of the original manga. It follows a character named Yuta. Yuta’s childhood best friend Rika is killed in a car accident and her spirit haunts him wherever he goes. But once he arrives at the Jujutsu Academy, Gojo help teaches him why her spirit appears and what he can do with it. The new trailer also introduces the lead antagonist of the movie named Suguru Geto.
When will Jujutsu Kaisen 0 release?
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie will release on Dec 24, 2021, in Japan. The international release date is not out yet. However, one can expect it to release sometime in 2022 before premiering on streaming platforms.
