The creators announced the fifth season during a live-stream event in April 2021. The first trailer came out after four months in August 2021 at a Stone Ocean event on YouTube. At the same event, the creators announced the release date. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Season 5 will premiere on Netflix on Dec 1, 2021.
An official listing on Netflix’s Media Center page confirms that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean will be a monthly release. So, expect a bunch of episodes to arrive on Netflix every month starting from Dec 1, 2021.

While she’s serving at Green Dolphin Street Prison with maximum security, her boyfriend, Jotaro visits her, and then the fun begins.
Jotaro gives her a pendant, which her father asked for. That unusual pendant awakens the mysterious supernatural power inside her, Stone Free. Also, he told Jolyne that one of the DIO’s framed her for murder to kill her in prison. In that case, they have to come up with a quick escape plan or their lives would be in danger.
