Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4 got delayed by a week. Now, fans wondering if this hiatus will affect the release of ‘Entertainment District Arc’ scheduled for Dec 5, 2021. Here’s everything you need to know.

Demon Slayer Season 2 is finally here with Tanjiro continuing his journey against the Demons. Season 2 premiered on Oct 10, 2021, in Japan. The first seven episodes of the second season have nothing new to offer. It’s a readaptation of the Mugen Train movie released last year.

The fans of the anime series are desperately waiting for ‘Entertainment District Arc’ to kicf off. We’ll have to wait until Dec 5, 2021 to watch the opening of the Entertainment District Arc. However, fans are wondering if the delay in episode 4 release affects the release schedule of ‘Entertainment District Arc’.

For the unfamiliar, Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4, titled ‘Insult,’ got delayed. It was scheduled to release on Oct 31, 2021. However, it got delayed because of the Special broadcast of “Live Election Sunday,” in Japan. Now, Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4 is set to release on Sunday, Nov 7, 2021.

Is Entertainment District Arc Getting Delayed Too?

Animation studio Ufotable earlier confirmed that Demon Slayer’s Entertainment District Arc would start on Dec 5, 2021. It will be the 7th episode of the second season. The fans have no need to worry as last week’s delay won’t affect the release schedule of the  Entertainment District Arc. It will begin on the planned date.

Ufotable announced the release date for Episode 8 (beginning of Entertainment District Arc) considering the delay in the fourth episode.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode Count?

The first season of Demon Slayer had 26 episodes. Demon Slayer Season 2: Infinity Train Arc that started airing on Oct 10, 2021, has 7 episodes. The first episode featured unseen events. The next six episodes are a readaptation of the Mugen Train movie that was released last year.

As mentioned above, Entertainment District Arc will kick off on Dec 5, 2021. Though the studio hasn’t revealed the number of episodes in the second season, several reports claim that it has 19 episodes.

According to the popular scheduling website Next-Episode, Season 2 consist of 19 episodes including the Infinity Train Arc. It means the Entertainment District Arc consists of 12 episodes. As per IQIYI, season 2 has 18 episodes.
