Following its debut on Netflix on Dec 1, 2021, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean made its debut in Japan in Jan 2022. Part 1 aired in Japan on Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS from Jan 8, 2022, to Mar 26, 2022. The second part dropped on Netflix on Sep 1, 2022. It premiered in Japan on Oct 8, 2022, and is currently airing new episodes weekly.
Stone Ocean is the sixth story arc of the manga JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, which ran from December 1990 to April 2003 and has 17 total volumes. The story follows Jotaru Kujo’s estranged daughter Jolyne Cujoh, who was set up by her ex-boyfriend to serve a 15-year sentence in a prison.
