The fourth season of Attack of Titan is split into two parts. The first part consists of 16 episodes concluded in March 2021. The first episode of the second part also serves as the 17th episode of the fourth season and the 76th episode of the series. Jun Shishido is directing the final season and MAPPA is animating it.

Season 4, Part 1 ended with Marley’s surviving military forces dropping out of the sky on The Shiganshina District to capture or kill Eren. An epic Titans battle is about to start, and Eren is the main force to rely on.
Things will be more complicated and darker in the coming part. Since Eren Yeager killed innocent citizens in an attack, his old friends are on opposing him due to disagreement. They were forced to join forces to stop him. Many consider the former hero their biggest enemy, as an important war is about to start.
