This is big news for the anime community. Finally, the release date for Demon Slayer Season 3 has been revealed. The upcoming season of Demon Slayer will premiere in April 2023, as confirmed by a brand-new trailer released earlier today.
The third season was confirmed right after the release of the finale episode of the second season, on Feb 23, 2022. However, the fans were waiting for the studio to announce the release date. So, this announcement comes as a big relief for them.
After months of waiting, the creators have released a trailer for the upcoming season and revealed a release window of April 2023. Though the exact release date is not out yet, we expect it to be revealed early next year.
The upcoming season will premiere on Fuji TV in Japan. International viewers will be able to watch the new season on Netflix and Crunchyroll. The creators have revealed that the first episode would be a one-hour special, unlike usual 20-22 minutes episodes.
Seeing the immense popularity of the series, the creators have announced a special event called World Tour Screening. It will take place in more than 418 theatres in Japan and 80 countries from Feb 3, 2023. In this event, episodes ten and eleven of the entertainment district arc and episode one of the upcoming swordsmith village arc will be screened. Tickets will be available to purchase from Dec 24, 2022.

The upcoming season will adapt the swordsmith village arc from the manga series. Those who have read manga know that arc covers 28 chapters (98-127).

This upcoming season will bring Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, and Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira. It will also introduce Genya Shinazugawa, the younger brother of Sanemi, the Wind Hashira.
Tanjiro fights with the Upper-Rank Four Demon, Hantengu, and Upper-Rank Five Demon, Gyokko. Season 3 will make Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inouske stronger and bring out new abilities and truths about Nezuko.
