The much-awaited anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc will be releasing on Funimation in 2021.

As fans are getting desperate to watch the next season of Demon Slayer anime, Funimation has made a big announcement. This announcement comes a week after the studio Ufotable unveiled a new teaser visual of Demon Slayer Season 2. Studio Ufotable has confirmed that Demon Slayer Season 2 will arrive in Japan in 2021. Though the exact release date is not yet announced, several rumors point towards an October launch date for the Entertainment District Arc adaptation.

Funimation to stream Demon Slayer Season 2

Now anime streaming website Funimation has confirmed that it plans to simulcast Demon Slayer Season 2. Funimation official Twitter account tweeted:

Demon Slayer fans in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand will be able to watch the second season this year.

There are rumors of the second season release date to be announced on Sep 25, 2021, when viewers in Japan get the Demon Slayer Mugen Train movie on their TV screens.

The second season of Demon Slayer will serve as a direct sequel to the Mugen Train film. It will be an adaptation of the ‘Entertainment District Arc’ of the manga series. In the upcoming season, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke mark on a new mission with a new demon hunter Tengen Uzui.
