Romantic Killer Season 2: Disheartening News For Fans!

Romantic Killer Season 2 Renewal news to arrive shortly!

Romantic Killer Season 2: The best romantic comedy anime show of 2022 will not return for another season. Here’s everything you need to know!

Without a doubt, Romantic Killer, a romantic comedy anime, was among the best shows to debut that year when its first season was published on Netflix in October 2022. It is based on Wataru Momose’s short manga series and centers on Anzu Hoshino, a female protagonist. Anzu has a strong obsession with video games, chocolate, and her cat; she has little interest in dating. All of that changes when she meets Riri, a magician who resembles Cupid and seizes everything she finds enjoyable.

As soon as the first season premiered on Netflix, fans immediately demanded more. And given how the first season concluded, there is plenty of content to create an even better season. However, the question on everyone’s mind is when is it coming back? Well, if you are wondering the same, you have come to the right place. Here’s everything you need to know about Romantic Killer season 2.

Will there be Romantic Killer Season 2?

To all Romantic Killer fans, there is some bad news. On July 1, 2023, Romantic Killer’s writer and illustrator Wataru Momose announced that they had no intentions for the show’s second season,

Even though we all know that the show seemed to finish on a cliffhanger with a “to be continued” in the closing credits, which had us hoping for a second season of the anime and a manga continuation, it has now been declared that there won’t be a sequel.

Therefore, fans will have to make peace with the series’ open-ended conclusion as there isn’t anything else to do other than expect more series like Romantic Killer from Mamose.

What will be the plot of Romantic Killer Season 2?

While the show has been cancelled, if it is ever renewed, say in a parallel universe, we can expect the following things to happen. Anzu learns that her three favourite things will be permanently taken away from her if she doesn’t find love before the end of the school semester. It also appears that Anzu will have three guys vying for her affection, with Tsukasa admitting he has feelings for her and Riri/Rio emerging as a potential love interest.

The Romantic Killer manga has just four volumes and was finished in September 2020. The entirety of which was covered in Season 1. Thus, the studio DOMERICA has no source material available.

On the other hand, Momose has also remained silent regarding the manga’s ongoing plot. Second, they create a distinctive plot of their own. In any case, it would follow Anzu as she gets to know her potential love interests and also follow Kate as she looks for romantic possibilities for Yukana, which might get complicated for our protagonist and her friends.
