So, Attack of Titan is coming to an end after almost a decade and 87 episodes. The season 4 finale titled The Dawn of Humanity will release on April 3 in the United States. It is the 130th chapter of the manga series. There are a total of 139 chapters in the manga. The show is yet to reach a conclusive point and fans are wondering what form the remaining chapters of the story will take. Are there going to be special episodes? Will there be Attack on Titan Season 5? Will there be an AoT movie? or will we get Part 3 of the fourth season to cover the remaining chapters.

Is an AoT movie on the way?

Well, at the time of writing, we don’t yet know what form the next chapter of the story will take. We need to wait for the Season 4 finale to air first. The creators of this amazing anime would love to end the story in an incredible manner. Fans are almost assured that there is going to be a movie to cover the remaining chapters to end the anime on a high.

The chances of getting a movie are high as anime movies are making it big at the box office worldwide in the last couple of years. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 were huge hits not only in Japan but in the overseas markets as well.

Attack on Titan Season 5 looks evitable

With just 9 chapters available for adaptation, a new season certainly looks evitable and unnecessary. The production of an anime season is an expensive affair. It requires gathering all the cast and crew members, millions of dollars, and whatnot. I don’t think MAPPA would go ahead with it.

While we await the announcement of how Attack on Titan will proceed to tell the rest of its story, you can rewatch the previous episodes on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

If you just can’t wait, head over to the manga and read the rest of the story. But you’d be missing Studio MAPPA’s amazing animation, the incredible voice acting, and above all the classical music score.
