Salman Khan starrer Antim, Akshay Kumar’s Atrangi Re and John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 to make their digital premiere on the same day.
There was a time when we used to witness big clashes at the box office. Well, now is the time for big clashes on OTT. We are talking about three big Bollywood movies going to digitally premiere on the same day. A Christmas weekend and three big star movies on OTT. You just can’t ask for more.
We are now well aware Atrangi Re, starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush will make its digital premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on Dec 24, 2021. Since the makers have opted for direct digital release, the lead stars have been aggressively promoting the movie for a few weeks. Directed by Aanand L Rai, Atrangi Re is a romantic musical love story. The trailer has received a positive response and Akshay Kumar’s presence has provided a big boost to the movie.
Atrangi Re is going to clash with two biggies. Reports suggest that Antim – The Final Truth, featuring Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan, will also premiere digitally on the same day (Dec 24, 2021) on ZEE5. Antim debuted in theatres on Nov 26, 2021. Besides these two biggies, Satyameva Jayate 2 will also make its digital premiere on Dec 24, 2021. The latest we heard is that John Abraham starrer will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Its prequel Satyameva Jayate is also available on Prime. Also starring Divya Khosla Kumar, Satyameva Jayate 2 debuted in theatres on Nov 25, 2021.
