Celebrating the first anniversary of Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, Tahir Raj Bhasin recalls memories of shooting season one.
On the first anniversary of his hit show, Tahir recalled the memories associated with the first season of the show, saying, “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein is a very special show. The popularity of the series took us all by storm. The audiences love for the series and the critical acclaim I received has truly been the best memory of 2022, for me. Today, the show has completed one year and I am absolutely thrilled.”
“Like everyone, even we as a team are eagerly waiting for the second season of YKKA. Our team is working really hard to ensure the same thrill and entertainment that the first season had. We are scheduled to shoot this year and I hope it is received with the same zeal, enthusiasm and acclaim as the first one.”
Sharing the status of the show in Sep 2023, Shweta Tripathi in conversation with Bollywood Hungama said, “In a few months from now, the shoot for Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen season 2 will start. We will start shooting for it in the last quarter of the year. I just got the narration for it.”

Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2 Plot
The romantic crime drama is essentially a twisted and dark love triangle. It follows a decent guy Vikrant Singh Chauhan (Tahir Raj Bhasin) who is in love with Shikha (Shweta Tripathi). On the other hand, a local politician’s daughter Purva (Anchal Singh) has had a crush on Vikrant since her childhood days.
Purva likes Vikrant and wants to marry him. She can go to any extent to get him. Things take a wild turn when Purva starts hurting Vikrant’s near and dear ones to get his love and affection. Left with no other option, Vikrant ends up marrying Purva even though he still wants to be with Shikha.
Season 1 ends on a cliffhanger as Vikrant hires a contract killer to kill Purva. However, things don’t go as planned. The killer named Godi kidnaps Purva instead of killing her and demands more money. The story will continue in the second season.
Talking about the return of the show, Anchal Singh says, “I’m excited for Season 2 and I hope it stands true to everyone’s expectations.
