Though Zee5 is not as popular as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, it has delivered some good Hindi web series in the last few years, including Tripling, Pitchers, Dunga, Abhay, and more. Some of these shows are set to return for a new season on Zee5. Let’s have a look at the list.
TVF Tripling Season 4
One of the oldest and most popular TVF series, Tripling, moved to Zee5 for its third season which premiered in Oct 2022. The feel-good series revolves around three siblings who together start a hilarious journey through bizarre and unique situations to find themselves and their relations. The series stars Vyas, Maanvi Gagroo, and Amol Parashar in lead roles, along with Kunaal Roy Kapur, Nidhi Bisht, Kumud Mishra, and Shernaz Patel.
Season 4 of Tripling is in production and is expected to premiere by the end of 2024.

The Broken News Season 2
Starring Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, The Broken News is a remake of the hit English series Press. The series premiered on June 10, 2022. The series tells the rivalry between two ideologically opposed news channels.
Zee5 released the teaser of the second season in June 2023. The trailer was released a few days back and the show is set to return for its second season on May 3, 2024.
Duranga Season 3
Adapted from the Korean drama Flower of Evil, Duranga stars Gulshan Devaiah and Drashti Dhami in the lead roles. Sammit Patel (Gulshan) is a happily married man and a caring father. His wife, Ira (Drashti), is a Mumbai Crime Branch detective. Sammit has a dark past which Ira doesn’t know. When a murder case leads Ira to suspect her husband, Sammit goes to great lengths to suppress his identity.
Season 3 of Duranga is in the making and is expected to premiere by the end of 2024.
Pitchers Season 3
TVF Pitchers is one of the cult shows in the Indian OTT landscape. Debuted in 2015 on TVF and YouTube, the series moved to Zee5 for the second as a part of its original programming. The series follows the entrepreneurship and startup journey of four friends, Naveen Bansal, Jitendra “Jitu” Maheshwari, Yogendra “Yogi” Kumar, and Saurabh Mandal.
Though Zee5 hasn’t officially renewed Pitchers for season three, we expect it to return soon based on the open ending of the second season.

Mithya Season 2
Set in the picturesque hill station of Darjeeling, this mystery series follows Juhi Adhikari, a Hindi professor portrayed by the talented Huma Qureshi. When Juhi accuses a student of plagiarism, little does she know that it will lead her into a maze of secrets and deception.
Audiences have been captivated by the gripping storytelling and unexpected twists, featuring a stellar cast including Huma Qureshi, Avantika Dassani, Rajit Kapur, and Parambrata Chatterjee. The show received praise for its performances but has also left fans eagerly awaiting another season.
Season 3 of Mithya is in the making and is expected to premiere by the end of 2024.
