Guns & Gulaabs Season 2: Netflix India has officially renewed Rajkumar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan-Led Series for the second season.
In 2023, several Indian web series’ enthralled audiences and critics and Netflix’s Guns & Gulaabs was one of them. The first season, released on Netflix in August, followed clumsy baddies and wannabe criminals in a fictional anesthetic town in the 1990s. It starred Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and Gulshan Devaiah along with T. J. Bhanu, Pojja Gor, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and others. The series was an instant hit on Netflix and made it to Netflix’s Top 10 Global Non-English TV list for several weeks.
After the grand success of the first season, Netflix has now officially renewed the series for the second season. Announcing Guns & Gulaabs Season 2, Netflix India shared a teaser on X (Twitter) and wrote in the caption, “Khali haath nahi, Guns & Gulaabs ka naya season leke aaye hain. #GunsAndGulaabs Season 2 is coming only on Netflix!”

Guns & Gulaabs joins the list of Indian Netflix originals returning for a new season. The list has shows like Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhen, Mismatched, Delhi Crime, and others.
Speaking about Guns & Gulaabs Season 2, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK said in a statement,
We’ve always believed that this wicked genre mash, Guns & Gulaabs held tremendous potential to entertain, and with Netflix, we found the perfect partners to bring it to life. We are humbled by the love that season 1 has received and are excited about season 2. While we’ll keep the details under wraps for now, we will work hard on an adventure that’ll be wilder and more delicious than the first one.
In an interview with PTI, Rajkummar Rao talked about working with the director duo Raj & DK. He said,
They are phenomenal. The quirk and humour they have are so unconventional. Nobody writes and presents a story the way they do it. I have known them before Stree and when they told me about Guns & Gulaabs, I was fascinated. I was expecting something similar, wacky, and out of the box from them. I got such a big playground to play as an actor, there was so much to explore.
