Salman Khan’s Tubelight Sold For Record Price To Distributors: The Domestic Rights Of Salman Khan’s Tubelight Has Been Sold For Record Rs. 130 Crores.
Distribution Rights are one of the most important methods of raking in big money before the release of a movie. We already told you how the distribution rights for Rehnuma have been sold for massive Rs 125 crores. But, Salman Khan’s Tubelight beats Shah Rukh Khan’s Rehnuma by a big difference.
Reportedly, the All India theatrical distribution rights of Tubelight have been sold to NH Studioz. The price us said to be something around 130 crores, which makes it an all-time record price so far. These rights are for distribution within India only, the overseas distribution rights are yet to be sold. Studios of the likes of YRF, Fox Star are competing hard to make that deal.
Tubelight has also beaten SRK’s Christmas release Dilwale. The domestic rights of Dilwale were sold for 125 crores.
The expectation from Kabir Khan’s Tubelight are very high and everyone is expecting a 300 crore grosser at the minimum. In order to make this deal successful for the distributors, Tubelight will need to make more than 250 crores all over India.
