Narendra Hirawat of NH Studioz confirmed the news and said, “Yes I have acquired the all India and overseas distribution rights of The Ring (Rehnuma), but I will not comment on the cost of the same.”

‘Red Chillies Entertainment’ has once again played it safe as with 125 crores deal they are in profits of around 25 crores. They will make huge profits through satellite, music, digital rights and branding. The satellite, music and other rights will fetch around 75 crores. Thus, the makers will make around 100 crores profits. Rehnuma needs to earn at least 170-180 crores in India to be a profitable venture for distributors.

The distribution price of Rehnuma is much higher than SRK’s last release Raees. The overseas and domestic rights of Raees were sold for around 100 crores. SRK’s 2015 Christmas release, Dilwale was sold to individual distributors for massive Rs. 150 crores. However, the reports suggest that Red Chillies later compensated money as distributors incurred huge losses.
