Salman Khan’s Radhe and Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi were scheduled to release on Eid 2020. But as the multiplexes and cinema halls across the country were closed due to lockdown, Radhe got postponed to Eid 2021 and Laxmmi opted for direct digital release.
Salman Khan waited for a year and is now all set to release Radhe on Eid 2021. The actor has finally revealed the release date and Radhe in arriving in theaters on May 13, 2021. Bollywood fans across the country are eagerly waiting for Radhe and it could become Salman Khan’s next Eid blockbuster.
Eid is considered lucky for Salman as all his films released during this period have emerged as huge hits at the box office. Salman made a strong comeback with Prabhu Deva’s ‘Wanted’ released during Eid 2009. The movie was a turning point for Salman Khan career and since then there is no looking back for him.
In fact, Eid is considered a very good release period for Bollywood movies. From 2009 to 2019, 10 out of 11 movies released on Eid belongs to Salman Khan. Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express is the only Non-Salman movie that was released on Eid in the last 11 years. That movie too was a huge blockbuster at the box office.
