The official website of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” anime announced five special compilations of the hit first season.
- Studio Ufotable confirmed that “Demon Slayer” Season 2 will arrive this year.

One of the most popular anime series of all time Demon Slayer will return for its second season this year. In Feb 2021, studio Ufotable confirmed the second season to be in production. While it is not yet confirmed when the anime would return, some reports suggest that the second season of the much-awaited anime might premiere in October.
While the fans are eagerly waiting for the second season to drop on TV, the official website of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” anime announced five special compilations of the hit first season.
As per the AnimeNewsNetwork report, the special compilations will cover five arcs – The Asakusa arc, Tsuzumi Mansion arc, the Sibling’s Bond arc, Mt. Natagumo arc, and The Hashira Meeting/Butterfly Mansion arc.
The Asakusa and Tsuzumi Mansion arcs will reportedly include “eyecatchers, end credits scenes, episode previews, and new key visuals”. Meanwhile, the Sibling’s Bond, Mt. Natagumo, and the Hashira Meeting/Butterfly Mansion arcs will be accompanied by a trailer of Ufotable’s new work.
The official website has revealed the special compilations’ airing schedule on Fuji TV. It will start with The Sibling’s Bond Arc on Sept 11, 2021. It will be followed by the Asakusa Arc on Sep 12, Suzumi Mansion Arc on Sep 18, Mt. Natagumo Arc on Sep 19 and The Hashira Meeting/Butterfly Mansion Arc on Sept 23. Fuji TV network will air the specials at 7pm JST. The telecast of these anime specials will lead to “Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train,” premiere on Sep 25, 2021.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 1 premiered in April 2019. It went on to become one of the most popular anime series of all time. Demon Slayer-Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train released in Oct 2020 emerged as the highest-grossing anime movie of all time. It also emerged as the highest-grossing movie of all time in Japan. The anime series is an adaptation of the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge.
