Kollywood superstar Vikram’s psychological action thriller Cobra locks its OTT release date.
Kollywood superstar Chiyaan Vikram’s last release Cobra debuted in theatres on Aug 31, 2022. It received mixed reviews from the audience and critics thanks to its poor screenplay, confusing storyline and length. Even Vikram’s terrific performance failed to make much impact as the movie tanked at the box office. After the theatrical debacle at the box office, the makers are looking to reach a wider audience through digital release.
Cobra OTT Release Date & Platform
The makers have locked the OTT release date of Cobra The psychological action thriller will make its OTT debut on SonyLIV on September 28. Along with the original Tamil version, the film will also be made available in dubbed languages of Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. No details about the Hindi dubbed version have been out yet.

Cobra Cast
The psychological action thriller, directed by R Ajay Gnanamuthu, marks the acting debut of former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who is playing a Turkish Interpol officer in the movie. Cobra also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Roshan Matthews, Anandaraj, Robo Shankar, Miya George, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan and John Vijay among others.
The movie is about a mathematician genius, Mathi, who has another identity, Cobra. Cobra assassinates his targets using mathematical skills.
