Vikram OTT Platform and Digital Rights
India’s biggest OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the post-theatrical digital streaming rights of Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram. As per the reports, the producers have sold the OTT and satellite rights for a whopping Rs 98 Crore.
OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar has shelled out a whopping Rs 48 Crore for South Indian languages’ digital rights of the movie. Star Vijay has acquired the satellite rights of the South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam) for Rs 40 Crore. The digital and satellite rights of the Hindi version were sold for Rs 10 Crore.
