Akshay Kumar is all set to amaze us with his action avatar in ‘Airlift‘. The first look poster of the most awaited movie was released by its makers yesterday and it looks interesting and intriguing. Featuring a war-torn area, the poster reads ‘1,70,000 Refugees, 488 Flights, 59 days and 1 Man‘ which is enough to raise our excitement level.
‘Airlift‘ is based on world’s largest human evacuation in which more than 170,000 Indians were evacuated from war-torn Kuwait. Akshay Kumar plays a rich Indian businessman, Ranjit Katyal who considers himself as a Kuwaiti. However, he eventually fights to save 1,70,000 Indian people from Kuwait when he finds his own family in danger.
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, ‘Airlift‘ also stars Nimrat Kaur, Purab Kohli and Lena. The movie is slated for release on 22 Jan 2016.
