Daawat-E-Ishq Theatrical Trailer : Watch Hyderabadi Hottie and Lucknowi Romeo desi romance

When the movie comes from Yash Raj Films, expectations are always big. Latest on-screen couple for YRF banner is Aditya Roy Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.

Directed by Habib Faisal who directed ‘Do Dooni Chaar’  and Ishaqzaade, this movie is a rom-com in which Gulrez ‘Gullu’ Qadir (Parineeti) who is an Hyderabadi Shoe-Sales Girl is in search of her groom and Tariq “Taru” Haider (Aditya) is a Lucknowi Chef who can charm anyone with his food. How they fall in love is the plot.

It will be interesting to see this fresh onscreen jodi set fire on the silver screen. The trailer has already created quite a buzz among the fans.

Aditya has finally ditched his ‘drunkard’ avatar played by him in “Aashiqui 2” and “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani”  and seems to be high on food in the trailer.

Says Aditya, “I guess I am good at playing a bevda (drunkard). But I don’t want roles where I am required to a play an alcoholic anymore. I think I should include it in my contracts. But in this film (Daawat-e-Ishq), my character is high on food” 

Also he gives full credit to the director for making him come out of his “drunkard” image. “In the previous films, I feel my characters have had a very serious undertone. In this film, I play a happy soul. He is guy with a big heart. I am glad that I got to work with Habib who has seen so much in the world and it is because of him that I was able to play this character”

The title song of the movie is already ragging among the fans. In the song Aditya tries to woo Parineeti with his delicious Lucknowi pakwans.

Directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra, Daawat-E-Ishq  is slated for release on 5th September, 2014.
