Saina Nehwal biopic release date: The makers have announced the release date of ace badminton player Saina Nehwal biopic titled Saina.
Parineeti Chopra’s next film, a biopic on ace badminton player Saina Nehwal, will hit the big screens on March 26, 2022, the makers announced on Tuesday. “Presenting the inspiring story of one of India’s greatest athletes, #Saina. In cinemas on 26th March,” the official Twitter profile of T-Series tweeted.

Amol Gupte, who has directed movies such as Stanley Ka Dabba and Hawa Hawai is helming the film produced by Bhushan Kumar under his production house T-Series.
Saina has been in news for a long time. Earlier Shraddha Kapoor was supposed to be the lead actress. However, she left the project due to scheduling issues and creative differences. Saina also stars Manal Kaul as Pullela Gopichand and Paresh Rawal as Harvir Singh Nehwal.
Parineeti Chopra has worked hard for the film and trained herself for professional badminton for around three months. She filmed Saina in 2019. The film was scheduled for release last year but got delayed due to the pandemic. Ace badminton star Saina Nehwal also tweeted about her upcoming movie. In a tweet, she wrote, “I’m so glad to share a glimpse of my upcoming movie, #Saina. Lots of love to the entire team. In cinemas on 26th March.”

Saina will be her third release of 2021. Last week only, the psychological thriller ‘The Girl in the Train‘ was released on Netflix. Chopra’s next will be Dibakar Banerjee’s Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Also starring Arjun Kapoor, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on Mar 19, 2021.
