Ye Diwali Thugs Wali. Well, it seems that this Diwali is certainly going to be ‘Thugs Ki Diwali’. Thugs of Hindostan starring Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be the biggest Bollywood release of all time in terms of screen count.

Thugs of Hindostan screen count in India

The most anticipated Bollywood film of 2018 is releasing on 5000 screens across the country. Yash Raj Films has ensured that their most expensive film gets as many screens as possible. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news about Thugs of Hindostan screen count. Taran tweeted:

With 5000 screens, Thugs of Hindostan will be the biggest Bollywood release of all time. Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai (4600 screens) is currently the widest Bollywood release.

The other big Bollywood releases are Tubelight (4400 screens), Sultan (4350 screens), Race 3 (4300 screens), Dangal (4250 screens), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (4200 screens) and Sanju (4200 screens).

Thugs of Hindostan runtime and number of shows in a day

With 5000 screens across the country, there would be more than 20000 shows in a day. This is a massive number and reveals a lot about the scale of the film.

Thugs of Hindostan is expected to take a mammoth opening at the box office. Some trade experts have predicted it to take the biggest opening of all time.

Thugs of Hindostan screen count in overseas

Not only in India but ‘Yash Raj Films’ is also releasing the movie on a grand scale in the overseas market. Thugs of Hindostan is releasing on around 2000 screens in the overseas market. This is the highest screen count for any Bollywood movie in the overseas market.

Thugs of Hindostan is an action adventure drama film starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh. It is the most expensive film of Bollywood with an estimated budget of around 300 crores.
