The latest reports suggest that Salman Khan is eyeing Eid 2021 for the release of his most anticipated movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’.

With multiplexes and theatres reopening, fans are now getting excited for the release of big movies that were pushed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown. Though the theatres have reopened, low footfall is a big concern for the exhibitors, producers and distributors. It remains to be seen when the big movies of 2020 will release. One of the most anticipated movies of 2020, Salman Khan’s Radhe was scheduled for Eid 2020 release. But that never happened because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown.

Now that Salman and his team have completed the shoot, the makers are looking for an ideal release date. It has been reported that the makers were considering the Republic Day weekend for the movie’s release. But low footfall has left them disappointed.

Radhe is a big-budget movie and the producers and distributors, handled by Yash Raj Films, felt “it would be wise to release it on May 12, 2021, thus keeping Salman’s tradition of Eid offerings alive.”

So, the chances are high that Salman Khan’s movie will release on Eid 2020. If this happens then it will clash with John Abraham starrer Satyamev Jayate 2. Initially scheduled for Oct 2, 2020 release Action-packed drama Satyameva Jayate 2 has been pushed to Eid 2021. It will release on 12 May 2021. A sequel to the 2018 hit, Satyamev Jayate 2 will star Divya Khosla Kumar opposite John Abraham. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the movie is about fighting against injustice and misuse of power.

Salman Khan’s Radhe on other hand is a sequel to the 2009 superhit Wanted. It stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. Radhe is directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Atul Agnihotri.
