Riding high on the success of his latest action-flick Kick, Salman Khan is all set to be a successful producer. His first international production movie Dr.Cabbie teaser is out and is already loved by the audience. Salman has launched ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s younger sis Isabel Kaif in Dr.Cabbie. The movie is a multicast starring Kunal Nayyar, Vinay Virmani, Isabel Kaif and Adrianne Palicki. The film is directed by Jean-Francois Pouliot and co-produced by Bollywood actor Salman Khan.
Salman had planned long back to wait till Kick releases to promote his international project Dr.Cabbie. Now that, Kick is a huge success and heading towards the 200cr club of Bollywood, Salman is all set for Dr.Cabbie promotion. Khan will be doing a three-day promotional tour to Toronto, Canada from 28th August.
Dr.Cabbie was earlier planned to be premiered at Toronto International Film Festival. However, already a huge queue of Hindi films are set to be screened at the Film Festival. Therefore, the makers have invited Salman Khan to steal the thunder at the Film Festival with his presence. Khan will be seen interacting with Indian cab drivers in Toronto as part of the film promotion. Sources say, “That’s what the film is about. It is about the adventures of a young taxi driver in Canada who moonlights as a doctor. Local cabbies would be sharing their experiences with Salman. It’s going to be three days of non-stop fun with Salman and his Canadian fan.”
The rom-com is about a newly arrived Indian doctor in Canada who cannot get a job and is forced to become a taxi driver. He becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile medical clinic. The film is light heart and bone tickling as per the teaser released on Youtube.
The film is mostly awaited by Indian audience because Katrina Kaif’s younger sister Isabel Kaif marks her debut with Dr.Cabbie. Whether she will become big in the industry like her sister or not, will have to wait and watch.
Movie is slated to hit the theaters on 19th September, 2014.
