Well, there is good and bad news for those who love this mystery drama. The good news is that the show will be back for its fourth season in May 2023. The bad news is that it will be the final season.

Nancy Drew Season 4 Release Date
The fourth season began filming on July 19, 2022, and concluded around mid-Dec 2022. In January 2023, it was announced that Nancy Drew‘s final season premieres on Wednesday, May 31 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Its series finale will air on August 23 alongside the series finale of Riverdale.
What will be the plot of Nancy Drew Season 4?
In Season 3, the Drew Crew went head-to-head with Nancy’s ancestor, Temperance Hudson (Bo Martynowska and Olivia Taylor Dudley). As the season reached its end, Temperance was on the verge of destroying Horseshoe Bay and the team narrowly managed to stop her. However, Temperance left them with one final blow: reanimating corpses from the cemetery. She also cursed Nancy so that if she tries to act on her feelings for Ace (Alex Saxon), disaster will strike. Season 4 will pick up these lines.
There is one thing that all “Nancy Drew” fans have wanted to know since the conclusion of Season 3. What is going to happen to Ace and Nancy? It looked like the two would finally be able to start a love connection after several seasons of a slow-burn romance.
However, nemesis Temperance placed a spanner in the works of any love future between the two at the end of Season 3. Temperance curses Nancy and Ace so they can never be together before she is defeated.
Ace, bewildered by this turn of events and ignorant that his life would be in danger if he and Nancy ever got together, watches as Nancy flees from him. The showrunners vow that the heartbreaking cliffhanger will be resolved.
Executive producers Landau and Melinda Hsu recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming season. One of the major plot points of the upcoming season will be the fate of Ace and Nancy after the curse. “We definitely will pick up with Ace wanting to know why Nancy ran out of his apartment like that,” they said. “His question to her, ‘Are you in trouble?’ is going to be the thing on his mind if and when we start season 4. ‘Why did Nancy run out of my apartment just when I thought she was going to kiss me? I bet she’s in trouble, I need to find out what’s going on.”
Nancy Drew Season 4 Cast
Kennedy McMann as Nancy Drew, Leah Lewis as George Fan, Maddison Jaizani as Bess Marvin, Tunji Kasim as Ned “Nick” Nickerson, Alex Saxon as Ace, Riley Smith as Ryan Hudson, Scott Wolf as Carson Drew will mark their return for the final season. All of those characters have been around since the beginning of the show.
We will see a few new faces as well. These include Jenaya Ross as Copperhead, Carmen Moore as Hannah Gruen, Ariah Lee as Ted Fan, Geraldine Chiu as Jesse Fan, and John Harlan Kim as Agent Park.
