Well, the good news is that the next season will be out on The CW sooner than you expected. All American season 5 premieres on Monday, October 10, at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW network in the US. Its spin-off Homecoming Season 2 will premiere on the same night, airing at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The previous four seasons of All American are available to stream on Netflix.
How many episodes will be in Season 5?
There is no update on the number of episodes the upcoming chapter is going to have. The first two seasons had 16 episodes each. Season 3 had 19 episodes while the fourth season was the longest one with 20 episodes.
According to the All American fandom page, season 5 is going to have 20 episodes. However, there is no official confirmation yet. The fifth season is expected to follow a regular release schedule i.e. debut in Oct and conclusion in May. With season 4 of the show recently concluded, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the next season. It is known that Spencer’s time at high school is coming to an end. So, a shift to a college will be the new development we will see in the next season. This shift will bring more challenges for Spencer. His ultimate aim is to make a place in the NFL. Apart from Spencer, Coop, and Patience’s music careers will be the prior plot points going forward. Both of them are heading in different directions. Coop is putting her health first while Patience is enjoying the launch of her new album. The tension between these two and their opposite paths will surely be explored in season 5.
The complex relationship between Olivia and her twin brother Jordan will be one of the heating topics of the next season.
