Leo OTT Release Date: Thalapathy Vijay starrer action thriller ‘Leo’ to make its digital debut on Netflix on this date.
Leo, the highly anticipated action-thriller, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Thalapathy Vijay, made its grand theatrical debut on October 19, 2023. The much-hyped film was released in both Tamil and Telugu languages and received a grand reception on its release.
Despite mixed reviews, the third movie in LCU grossed Rs 600 Crore worldwide. Leo emerged as the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2023 and the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. It became the highest-grossing Tamil film overseas, the second highest-grossing Tamil film of all time, the fifth highest-grossing South Indian film of all time and the 12th highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Leo is currently the highest-grossing film in the franchise.
As Leo has concluded its theatrical run, fans are curious to know when will it premiere on OTT. Well, there is good news for those waiting to watch Leo from the comfort of their home.
When will Leo stream on OTT?
The digital streaming rights of Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo are acquired by Netflix India for a whopping sum. As per the agreement with Netflix, Leo will make its OTT debut after four weeks of theatrical run. Since the makers wanted just a four-week gap between theatrical and digital release, Leo didn’t screen in four major multiplex chains in North where the gap between theatrical and OTT release should be at least eight weeks.

Leo will make its OTT debut on Netflix in India on Nov 24, 2023. The film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

Leo is the third movie in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe). The other two movies, Kaithi (2019) and Vikram (2022) are streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
