Streaming giant Netflix on Mar 3, 2021, announced its complete slate for 2021 and surprised everyone as Kota Factory was there in the list of 41 titles announced. Kota Factory Plot
The first season containing five episodes was premiered simultaneously on TVFPlay and YouTube on 16 April 2019. The season finale premiered on 14 May 2019. The show is set in Kota, which is an educational hub for IIT, Medical students across the country. There are many coaching centres where students come from across the country to prepare for various entrance exams like IIT, NEET, etc.
The show follows the life of 16-year-old youngster Vaibhav who moves to Kota from Itarsi. It beautifully depicts the life and struggles of students in the city, and their efforts to get into premium institutes. In the second season, Vaibhav’s story will continue as he decided to go to Maheshwari Classes leaving behind his friends and love interest.

Has the filming started yet?
As per the reports from various sources, in September 2020, the series crew started filming for season two in LNCT Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The filming took place under strict COVID-19 protocol. A special team was there for the supervision. The filming wrapped in Jan 2021 as announced by the makers.
Kota Factory season 2 release date
Much to the delight of fans, Netflix announced the release date of the second season on Aug 30, 2021. The streaming giant released a trailer announcing the release date. Here’s is the teaser:
