Ramayana, the epic story of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, that we have been listening and watching since our childhood. The story has been made many times and with different views, in television shows, however, this time a trilogy is being made on the epic saga and it for sure is a news to be excited about.
Nitesh Tiwari, the director of movie Dangal and Ravi Udyawar’s upcoming project is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. If reports are to be believed then, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have been approached to play the role of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita in the movie.
Yes, you read that right! The producers and directors of the movie are keen to bring Hrithik and Deepika as Ram and Sita in the movie.
Furthermore, the reports revealed that the movie is being made on a grand scale and will have an estimated budget of Rs 500 crore. The movie will be shot in 3D and will be a long trilogy in different languages including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The epic trilogy will be produced by Madhu Mantena, Allu Aravind and Namit Malhotra.
In an interview, the director of Dangal movie Nitesh Tiwari said, ‘Once done with ‘Chhichhore’, I will go back to start working for ‘Ramayana’. It is a challenge for me as I have a sense of responsibility to bring the project in its true form of glory for the country’.
According to sources, Hrithik Roshan is thrilled to be a part of this movie as according to him this movie is one of the most ambitious projects till date.
Talking about their work front, Hrithik Roshan is enjoying the success of his recently released movie ‘Super-30’ which is now enjoying its run-time as ‘tax-free’ in many states.
On the other hand, Deepika Padukone is currently working on two projects simultaneously. She will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife in his biopic ’83’ alongside Ranveer Singh, who is playing the role of Kapil Dev in the movie. Also, she will be seen playing the role of acid attack survivor, Laxmi Agarwal in her biopic Chhapaak, which is being produced by Deepika herself.
