After a lot of speculations on its making, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dream project Bajirao Mastani will be releasing on 18 Dec 2015. The movie has been in the news for over 10 years now because of its casting and other issues. Sanjay Leela Bhansali planned it in 2003 after the release of Devdas.
Initially, Salman and Aishwarya Rai were approached to play the main leads in the film. Later, Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to star alongside Salman, while Rani Mukerjee was supposed to play Bajirao’s first wife. Then, several actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif were rumoured to have been approached for the film.
Finally, the first look posters of the movie are out and we must say that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has left no stone unturned for his dream project.
Ranveer Singh has gone bald for the movie and we must say that he is looking absolutely class in the first look as a Maratha Peshwa. The actor is looking authentic and we can say that he will do wonders with this one.
Deepika Padukone is playing Bajirao’s wife Mastani in the movie and once again the actress has nailed it. Sporting a warrior look, Deepika is looking absolutely stunning with an arrow and bow in her hand.
Priyanka Chopra is playing Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai in the movie. The actress is looking amazing in the first look, sporting the Maharashtrian attire.
Bajirao Mastani is produced by Krishna Lulla and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The teaser of the movie will be unveiled tomorrow. One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Bajirao Mastani is all set to clash with SRK’s Dilwale on 18 Dec 2015 at Box Office.
