Citadel: The sci-fi action spy series starring Priyanka Chopra is coming this April. Here’s everything you need to know!

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden star in Citadel, an action-spy thriller series from the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and Amazon Studios. The series is said to as “an expansive and groundbreaking global event comprising a mothership series and several local language satellite series” and an “action-packed spy series with a compelling emotional centre.”
The other series in the franchise are already underway in Italy and India. According to Prime Video, “Citadel and its subsequent series traverse the globe with interconnected stories.”

Citadel season 1 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 28, 2023.
How many episodes are there?
The first season will consist of six episodes.
Will all episodes of Citadel premiere at once?
The first two episodes will be released on the day of the premiere i.e. Apr 28, 2023. However, the remaining episodes will be released on a weekly basis, with its final episode arriving on May 26.
Although it’s increasingly typical for streaming originals to release all of their episodes simultaneously, Citadel’s choice to proceed more slowly should ideally help the show gain traction and attract viewers by word of mouth.
What will Citadel be about?
The show will focus on Kane and Sinh as they reunite with Citadel after having their memories erased. They will work together once more to take down the deadly crime organization Manticore. Their characters will also have a complicated relationship that is thoroughly explored. Therefore, the characters and their particular backstories heavily influence the show’s plot.
