CW Fall 2022 Schedule: The Winchesters, The Professionals & Walker Independence to debut. The Flash, Superman & Lois being held until 2023.

It’s the beginning of a new era for The CW. For those who don’t know, the network is going through a lot of changes. Recently, the network canceled nine of its shows. The fans of the network are disappointed for obvious reasons but they should be ready for more changes coming down the pipe. The CW has announced the fall 2022 schedule. It has several new shows debuting on the network.

New shows on Tuesdays

Supernatural prequel The Winchesters will air on Tuesday nights. It will be followed by another new series The Professionals.

All American and its spin-off will air on Mondays

Sports drama All American held its Monday 8 pm slot. It will be by the spinoff All American: Homecoming. The CW recently renewed these two series.

Jared Padalecki’s Walker held its Thursday 8 pm slot. It will be followed by a new prequel series Walker: Independence.

Thursdays belong to Jared Padalecki, with “Walker” staying in the 8 p.m. slot and leading into the prequel series “Walker: Independence.”

Fridays and Saturdays are all alternative programming. Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Whose Line Is It Anyway run will air on Fridays while Magic with the Stars and World’s Funniest Animals are on Saturdays. The acquired series Family Law and Coroner will air on Sunday.

The Flash and Superman & Lois to continue in 2023

The Flash Season 9, Superman & Lois Season 3, and the new superhero series Gotham Knights are being held until 2023. Check out the full CW fall 2022 schedule below!

Known for its superhero shows especially Arrowverse and its spin-offs, The CW will continue to focus on superhero shows. CW Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz assured that the network is still very much in the superhero business. When speaking on a press call ahead of CW Upfront 2022, Pedowitz said:

“We started with one — this was ‘Arrow’ 10 years ago — we have now moved to create a whole bunch of superheroes. And we’re proud of it and we plan to stay in that business. No matter what the outcome is, with any event of sale or no sale. I think the Warner side realizes the value of having these properties up. DC Comics realizes the value of what it does to their marketability, in terms of what these franchises are.”
