The streaming service Peacock acquired Pete Davidson’s Bupkis in a “very competitive situation” and gave it a straight-to-series order on April 27, 2022. Deadline first broke the news about the comedy in March 2022. The Saturday Night Live actor’s life will be fictionalised in the comedy, which Davidson writes, executive produces and stars in.

The upcoming comedy series Bupkis is an exaggerated portrayal of Davidson’s real life that combines realistic narrative with absurd ideas from his “unfiltered and entirely original worldview. The series is currently in production and fans are eager to find out when it will be released and what surprises are in store. Here’s what we know about Bupkis which is set to premiere on Peacock.

What Bupkis is about? Plot

While most of the series’ information has been kept a secret, Davidson and his team have revealed certain story details. This Peacock original received an official order for a series in April 2022. This half-hour live-action comedy depicts a more exaggerated, fictitious version of Pete Davidson’s real life. The show will blend realistic storytelling with absurd elements from Pete’s unadulterated and wholly unique perspective, which is well-known.

Who stars in Bupkis?

The series stars Pete Davidson in the leading role and Joe Pesci as his grandfather. Davidson left SNL in the spring after eight seasons. This will be Pesci’s first time starring in a television series in 37 years. Edie Falco will play Davidson’s mom. The following stars will appear in the guest roles:
