After delivering the biggest blockbuster of the year in Sultan, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are all set to reunite for a film to be produced by Atul Agnihotri. Earlier, the movie was to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi who failed to produce the script as suggested by Salman Khan.
Now, with Rajkumar Santoshi’s exit, Atul Agnihotri has roped in Ali Abbas Zafar for an untitled project. With Sultan, Abbas has completed his three-film contract with Yash raj films and is now free to venture out with other producers.
As per the reports, Ali is busy developing a script for a movie which is taunted to be an action comedy. If rumours are to be believed then Salman will start shooting for the movie once he completed Kabir Khan’s Tubelight.
The untitled project may release on Christmas 2017. We are awaiting an official announcement on this development.
Meanwhile, there are reports in Times of India that Ali is also planning to rope in Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone for a movie which may also star Salman Khan.
Salman will start shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight from 27 July 2016. Tubelight also stars Sohail Khan as Salman brother. Based on the Sino-Indian war of 1962, Tubelight is slated for release on Eid 2017.
