It’s confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting Imtiaz Ali’s film from August, Aanand L Rai’s film from September.
Shah Rukh Khan invited various media persons to Mannat on the occasion of Eid for a special press meet and talked candidly about many things like Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting Imtiaz Ali’s film from August, Aanand L Rai’s film from September.
Shah Rukh Khan candidly opened up about his upcoming projects with the media. He talked about both Imtiaz Ali’s film and Aanand L Rai’s film–
“I wanted to do a happy film with Imtiaz Ali because I am in that zone right now. I had really liked his Jab We Met. So yeah, he has a film for me. He has a different language of love. So yes, this is a love story but the film isn’t based on Guide. But, keeping my age in mind now, this is not like a young upbeat love story. But he has a very nice take on it. Post that, sometime in November, I start Aanand Rai’s film. Along with that, I am in talks with a lot of people with whom I am discussing. They’re all great directors, great friends of mine but they haven’t been confirmed yet. Aanand Rai’s film has not been cast yet but yes, I do play a dwarf in the film.”
He even confirmed the reports of a movie with Aditya Chopra by saying that they have been discussing a few things with each other for a year now. But they aren’t the same as it’s being written about.
It’s clear that the year 2017 is going to be very exciting for Shah Rukh Khan fans. By the end of this year, his Gauri Shinde film with Alia Bhatt will hit the theatres and the makers of Raees are even in talks with Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan to avoid the clash with ‘Kaabil’ on 26th January next year.
