Anticipations actually went for a six when Krrish 3 landed on the big screen.
Krrish 3 got released on 1st of November, 2013 and turned out to be a cocktail of Batman, amazing Spiderman and many such Hollywood flicks, leaving a weak Bollywood impression of-course. The much awaited movie of the year Krrish 3 would attract only a particular section of audience who believes in vampirism, evil mutants and super-hero sort of materials.
Although, Rakesh Roshan deserves an appreciation for at least serving something new to Bollywood.
Plot & Storyline
Story begins from where the prequel ended, showing Krishna (Hrithik) leading a joyous life with his wife Priya (Priyanka) and his intellectual father Rohit Mehra (Hrithik again). Performing rescue operations in black jacket and his mask is still undoubtedly a part of Krishna’s daily activities.
His usual life gets adversely affected when Kaal (Vivek) appears possessing special powers and a very remarkable “maniac laughter”, who aims at erasing the humans through his creations called “Maanvars” which includes the super-stunning Kaya (Kangna) in the army as well.
But, exactly as predicted, despite of all the evil efforts of the villain, our super-hero saves the mankind from those highly injurious “Maanvars”, using his exceptional super-powers.
Krrish 3 team can be appreciated for their attempt but it would definitely attract more attention if it would have included some originality rather than copying the Hollywood flicks.
Hrithik is a perfect super-hero material, however, Priyanka is just an ON ‘&’ OFF in the movie. Kangna has turned out to be a surprise element. To my surprise, she is a chameleon who is so good-looking and can sing as well!!
Vivek has again turned out to be a good villain. He should think of his career more as a villain now.
Krrish 3 is a very much predictable high-on action sci-fi film which has been framed as per the Indian mindset, but the director should not forget that it includes the urban audience as well, who can easily identify the lame visual effects.
To level up their confidence, yes the dialogues are fantastic. However, the extra-stretched climax and the very-average music leaves a very negative impact.
For Kids: Kudos!! Your super-hero is back!!
For Adults: If a sci-fi action movie is your cup of tea – do watch, else celebrating Diwali to the fullest with your loved ones would be a better option.
Blogtobollywood would rate Krrish 3 as 3 on a scale of 5.
Enjoy & have a nice safe Diwali.
