It was discovered that the Order of the Cruciform Sword served only as puppets for Adriel’s war against the powers of Heaven. He touches Ava, and she tells him who he is. After he slew a Tarask monster that had pursued him out of a demonic gateway, the initial knights of the Order believed him to be an angel.
However, Ava and the Order will carry the battle to Adriel in the upcoming season. The armies of Heaven may invade the Vatican now that the devil has revealed himself to the world and assist the Order rather than remaining on their own.
