Unfortunately, there will be no Season 5 of On My Block. The show was canceled after the fourth season, which was officially the last seson of the series. Why was Season 5 cancelled?
The four seasons of the show were a thrilling ride for every viewer. The show ended with the fourth seson with a promise to not return. The Season 4 ends with answers all questions, ficing all loose ends. There is nothing left to be covered in a new season.
We can’t even say that the show was canceled. It was pre-planned to a a four season with an apt and satisfactory conclusion. It was sad to bid adieu to our favorite stars.

What is On My Block about?
On My Block is a story about four friends living in inner-city Los Angeles, called Freeridge, who find their lifelong friendship tested as they begin high school. The show has everything that you can imagine-romance between characters, broken high school relationships, crushes, fests, career issues, drinks, problems, breakups, patch-ups, parents who have problems, and even death.
The first season mainly focuses on showing the audience how the bond is formed, the subsequent seasons see the various challenges they face together while growing and completing their school.

According to Variety, production on the show’s first season has officially wrapped. The series will premiere on Netflix but the streamer hasn’t revealed the release date yet.
