WandaVision is a TV miniseries based on the Marvel Comics characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision. The series created by Jac Schaeffer is set in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019).

Till now, four episodes have been released on Disney Plus. The first two episodes were released on Jan 15, 2021, in black and white, the next two episodes were released in colour on Jan 22 and Jan 29 respectively. When will WandaVision episode 5 release?

The fifth episode of WandaVision will release on Friday, February 5, 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT time on Disney+. In India, episode 5 will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar at 1:31 pm IST on February 5. In the UK, the viewers can watch WandaVision episode 5 from 8:01 am on Feb 5.

WandaVision Plot and Story: Episode 5

Set three weeks after the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Wanda Maximoff and Vision are living a comfortable rural life in the town of Westview, trying to hide their powers. As they begin to enter new decades, the couple suspects that things are not as they seem.

The series depicts Wanda’s mental illness and reveals the details behind the “Scarlet Witch” name that was not previously used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It explores the extent and origin of Wanda’s powers.

Show creator Jac Schaeffer announced that the five remaining episodes have “many surprises left in store”. He said, “I encourage all fans to settle in because there’s more coming.”

WandVision is the first series in Phase Four of the MCU. The led characters are two Avengers, Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Here is a detailed look at all characters:

1) Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch

An Avenger who can harness magic, engage in telepathy, and alter reality. Wanda Maximoff is a character portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies. Maximoff has appeared in the films Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019).

2) Paul Bettany as Vision

An android and former Avenger created using the artificial intelligence J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron as well as the Mind Stone, who was killed during the events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Paul Bettany appeared as Vision in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Thanos killed him in Avengers: Infinity War.

3) Debra Jo Rupp as Sharon Davis

A New Jersey resident and wife of Mr Todd Davis. Sharin is Wanda and Vision’s neighbour in the series.

4) Fred Melamed as Todd Davis

A New Jersey resident and husband of Sharon, who plays the role of “Arthur Hart”, Wanda and Vision’s neighbour and Vision’s boss.

5) Kathryn Hahn as Agnes

Wanda and Vision’s neighbour.

6) Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau

The daughter of Air Force pilot Maria Rambeau and a captain in S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient Weapon Observation Response Division), who first introduces herself to Wanda and Vision as their neighbour “Geraldine”.

7) Randall Park as Jimmy Woo

An FBI agent working with S.W.O.R.D. who previously was the parole officer of Scott Lang / Ant-Man.

8) Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis

An astrophysicist working with S.W.O.R.D. who previously worked for Jane Foster and befriended Thor.
