New twists and surprises this season
For those who may have already forgotten the events of Seasons 1 and 2, Single’s Inferno revolves around twelve stunning singles who spend a week together on a deserted island in search of love.
Season 3 of the Korean dating competition promises a few new twists and surprises. “What used to be ‘Paradise’ and ‘Inferno’ will change completely,” Yoo Ki Hwan, Netflix’s unscripted lead for Korea, told Tudum earlier this year.
“Especially when it comes to ‘Paradise’ — it won’t just be a luxurious resort, but more of a special and intimate place where the couples have a chance to dive deeper into each other’s emotions, elevating the romance.” The production team also noted that there will be new rules, which will be substantially different from Seasons 1 and 2.
The third season will likely focus more on the ideas of heaven and hell than the first two did, the production team has revealed.
Who is hosting Single’s Inferno Season 3?
We will see a new change this season as season 2 breakout star Kim Jin-young joins the hosts from the previous seasons, Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun and Hanhae.
In an interview with Netflix, Kim said that he “is looking forward to seeing the level of genuine-ness the cast of Single’s Inferno 3 will bring” and advises the cast to “not lose themselves”.
