Singham 3: Rohit Shetty has confirmed that after Sooryavanshi he will be working on Singham 3 with Ajay Devgn.
There were reports that Rohit Shetty wants to expand his cop universe after Sooryavanshi. It is being reported that he will introduce Hrithik Roshan as the fourth cop of the universe in the climax of Sooryavanshi. However, the ace director has denied these reports. In a conversation with media recently, Rohit spit beans on his upcoming projects.
He made it clear that he won’t be introducing a new character in Sooryavanshi. Rohit Shetty also said that the next film of his cop universe will be Singham 3 with Ajay Devgn. He said that the reason he won’t be introducing any new character is that he then will face the pressure of making a film on it immediately.
Rohit Shetty also talked about Satte Pe Satta remake that he’s producing. He affirmed that it will be different from 1982 film Satte Pe Satta. The film will take some time to go on floors as Farah Khan is still working on the script.
Talking about Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, it started with Ajay Devgn’s Singham, which released in 2011. The film was a box office hit. The next instalment of the film Singham Returns, which released in 2014 was a huge hit as well. Rohit Shetty then introduced Ranveer Singh as Simmba. The film was a blockbuster at the box office. Rohit Shetty introduced Akshay Kumar as Veer Sooryavanshi in the climax scene of Simmba. This is how Rohit Shetty’s cop Universe is evolving.
