Lover Stalker Killer is a true crime documentary that tells the twisted story of love, dating, jealousy, and murder. The inhuman crime is thoroughly investigated using interviews, circumstantial evidence, and archival footage. The retired Omaha Police Department detectives are depicted in the reenactment researching the graphic criminal case and expressing shock at the cruel actions. The disturbing dramatization will undoubtedly pique viewers’ curiosity about how, in the digital age, love can also be fatal.

“Dave was recently out of a long-term relationship and eager to restart his romantic life, so he did what most people do: He tried online dating. Yes, there certainly is. Netflix released an almost two-minute trailer in which we get to know Dave Kroupa, a man who told us about his enjoyable dating experiences until he met Cari Farver, a thirty-something single woman, in 2012.
In the trailer, Dave stated, “I made it clear I was absolutely not going to be tied down.” Everything in his love life was going well until he met Liz, a different woman whose passion for motorcycles won him over. The love triangle takes a dramatic turn when he receives threatening messages from Farver.
