As per latest reports, Akshay Kumar is no more a part of Hera Pheri 3. He is replaced by Kartik Aaryan.
There is a lot of drama happening around the casting of Hera Pheri 3 for last two weeks. Earlier it was reported that Akshay Kumar is in talks with producer Firoz Nadiadwala to revive Hera Pheri, Awara Pagal Deewana and Welcome franchise. This comes as a big news for Khiladi fans. The discussions between producer Firoz Nadiadwala and Akshay were on for around two weeks. However, in the latest development suggests that Akshay is no more a part of Hera Pheri 3 and the youth star Kartik Aaryan is replacing him.
In fact, Paresh Rawal who has been an integral part of Hera Pheri franchise has confirmed this news on Twitter.

Though fans are disappointed and has already planned to boycott Hera Pheri 3 if Kartik replaces Akshay in the movie. However, they should realize that it is Akshay who has backed out of the movie.
A report in Pinkvilla states, “Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Pagal Deewana are three of the most loved franchises led by Akshay Kumar, and he was quite keen to revisit the iconic films. However, after several rounds of meetings, he has decided to take a step back, as he couldn’t align with the broad script ideas.”
However, a new report from Bollywood Hungama has different take on it. As per Bollywood Hungama, Firoz Nadiadwala wasn’t keen to on board Akshay due to his whopping fee. The report says that Akshay Kumar quoted Rs. 90 Crore as his fees plus some share of profit as his remuneration for Hera Pheri 3 whereas Kartik Aaryan was willing to do it for Rs. 30 crores.
The difference in the remuneration price was nearly Rs. 60 crore between both actors. When Firoz went to the satellite and digital players with the two probable casting calls and made his calculation and realised that the working with Kartik Aaryan was giving him better returns in the than working with Akshay.
Firoz went to Akshay again and tried to convince him to enter into a profit-sharing arrangement. However, the actor turned it down as he felt, the franchise benefits majorly from his presence.
As per the latest reports, Firoz is in talks with Anees Bazmee to direct the movie which is in the scripting and pre-production stage.
