Rajinikanth in Kaala

Kaala Trailer Review: Rajinikanth yet again proves that there is no one close to him in Indian cinema, when it comes to style and swag.

There is no stopping Rajinikanth. The much awaited Pa Ranjit directed Kaala is all set for its big release. The movie has been in the news for superstar Rajinikanth’s “dark” avatar playing a positive character but with a touch of black. Rajinikanth’s previous movie Kabali was directed by the same director. As most of the superstar’s film, this film too will have him playing a larger than life character.

Kaala also stars Bollywood veteran Nana Patekar and gorgeous actress Huma Qureshi in the main lead. The trailer starts with Nana’s character asking about Kaala (Rajni) and the introduction begins. The subject of the film is the clash between the ruling class and working class. With high dramatic action sequences and music, the movie promises great entertainment to all Rajinikanth lovers. The movie will release in Tamil and Hindi. Check the trailer right here:

Rajinikanth once again shows why he is the man of masses. He yet again proves that there is no one close to him in Indian cinema, when it comes to style and swag. The teaser is an absolute treat for all Rajini fans out there.

Rajinikanth, 67 years old, looks all promising in this new flick again donning the saviour role. Kaala is produced under Dhanush productions. The main leads in the film include Rajinikanth, Nana Patekar, Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, Samuthirakini and Eswari Rao.

Rajinikanthh was last seen in the films Kabali in 2016, For The Love Of Man (2015) and Lingaa (2014). Apart  from Kaala, 2.0 is also lined up for release this year. The film will be a sequel to the 2010 movie Enthiran (Robot in Hindi). This movie will star Akshay Kumar in the negative lead opposite Rajinikanth and actress Amy Jackson will be seen in the female lead. The trailers of 2.0 is also out.

The tentative release date of Kaala is 27 April 2018. Earlier the film 2.0 was scheduled to release on the same date but apparently there has been a shuffling of the dates.

  1. Kaala gives us no choice but to be impressed by its propensity towards grandeur. It mows through our apprehensions conveying the urgency of a pre-fixed wrestling match.
