Bang Bang Music Review: A Vishal-Shekhar’s captivating musical play
Bang Bang Music Review: The movie is scheduled to release on 2nd of October and had its music release on 16th September on iTunes by Sony Music Entertainment Under Exclusive License From Zee Music Company. While the movie has been one of the awaited flicks of this year and has been creating buzz, the music was rated as averaged by most of the critics, however it doesn’t turned out bad when I reviewed it, a few days back.
Bang Bang’s track has 4 songs and one reprise version and was indeed a delight for ears with signature Vishal-Shekhar touch in it.
Detailed Song Wise Review of Bang Bang music
Let’s see how the individual tracks appeared in the soundtrack.
The engaging music that captures you from the first beat is what Tu Meri is all about. Tu Meri is complemented with wonderful lyrics that pushes your feets towards dance floor, providing a perfect first track spill out for the album. Vishal is lovable because of the exciting purges his songs can sit in while making a perfect disc fusion. Oh! did I mention it is a love song? Nevermind hear it all enjoy this perfect repeat playlist material. A romantic upbeat bass musical disc song. Vishal is the desi bass hunters.
Meherbaan is placed very well in the track list. After a highly energetic number, Meherbaan pretends to sooth you with obvious Vishal-Shekhar touch on the music. The lyrics will shoot you down on a not very slow, yet a good complementary music, and when you expect the track to go bit more soothing, it starts injecting in energy. A nice track to listen and will go in your lullaby playlist to forget those crappy office talks. On the music, lyrics and singing front everything complements well, the music being the best part of it.
Uff begins with alternate punk music and oscillates on a bubbly rhythm with fine lyrics, THe song comes out better than its lyrics. Nice work in composing and singing. Go for it, though it’s fate travels much on your song preferences.
Bang Bang Title Track
Bang Bang’s title track starts with a modern hip-hop music, The singing is done in a complementary fashion, but after Meherbaan and Tu Meri, life becomes slightly dull. Yes, this is one of the good treatment of modern hip-hop which I have seen in an Indian blended culture, yet it is slightly weaker than the opening track. I’ll go for it when I am in lighter tones. Benny Dayal and Neeti Mohan, hats off for splendid singing!!
Meherbaan – Reprise Version
Ah ! finally Shekhar’s Reprise version. Feel the wonderful lyrics of Meherbaan. The reprise version looks good and you know, the higher octane version had an addictive music, for me my mind was playing those addictive beats even on this reprise.
A small and exciting tracklist from Bang Bang captivates your attention and spills in some good music. You feel Vishal-Shekhar and if you are a fan, its a treat.
The album can be bought for Tu-Meri, Meherbaan and Uff.
