The filming finally started on July 16, 2021. As per the latest reports, the filming for the second season wrapped up in June 2022.
On June 14, 2022, a Twitter user asked Arshad Warsi how much fans need to wait for Asur 2. “Aur kitna wait for #asur?? @VootSelect @ArshadWarsi (sic),” read the tweet. To which he replied, “Not long, I promise(sic).”
Well, the wait is finally over. The second season of Asur is finally arriving on revamped Jio Cinema app on June 1, 2023. The streaming platform released the first look of the show which also revealed the release date. It will be available for free on the streamer.
